With NESSIE, we aim to give an extra impulse to the recruitment and training of energy transition professionals at vocational level.

We do this by:

• developing and implementing innovative recruitment campaigns, and
• creating practice-oriented, short advanced educational modules based on local, regional, and (inter)national best practices.
   

The EU Green Deal aims to make the EU climate-neutral by 2050. To achieve this, a significant and rapid increase in sufficient skilled workers and skilled craftspeople in the energy transition is crucial. Through NESSIE, we contribute to this by training future workers, including:

• electricians,
• installers,
• service technicians, and
• plumbers,

Employment of energy transition craftspeople must grow exponentially, and millions of jobs must be created in the coming years to implement the energy transition.

We are a modest NESSIE-partner with the main focus on producing policy reports, both midway and the end of the project.

These reports include both lessons learned, obstacles encountered and potential solution directions, aimed atthe activities of quadruple stakeholders in the project as well as the wider group of professional installers' organizations, school branche organizations, (inter-)national governments and special EU vocational schools’ agencies.

In addition, we fulfill an active role in the development of a new training module on circular electric goods and the formulation of the NESSIE implementation vision and future roadmap.
