Techno-Anthropology Thesis Showcase 2026
Techno-Anthropology Thesis Showcase 2026
The Techno-Anthropology Thesis Showcase is an annual event where graduating Master's students present their thesis projects and reflect on the competencies they have developed throughout the programme.
The showcase brings together students, alumni, researchers, and industry representatives to explore how techno-anthropological perspectives contribute to organisations, technological development, policy, sustainability transitions, and societal challenges. Through thesis presentations, panel feedback, and networking activities, students have the opportunity to communicate both their research findings and the professional competencies they have developed during their studies.
At the 2026 showcase, graduates presented projects spanning topics such as professional identity and employability, decolonial technology practices, healthcare innovation, sustainable energy communities, student housing and belonging, and social media in contexts of armed conflict. The event also featured a panel of Techno-Anthropology alumni and professionals from PwC, Openframe, and Milestone Systems. Drawing on their experience from consulting, innovation, design, and technology-intensive organisations, the panelists provided feedback on how students' competencies can be communicated and translated into professional contexts, helping graduates articulate the value of techno-anthropological expertise beyond the university.
