Land Management and Geoinformatics is a wide-ranging research group working with problems related to surveying, mapping, geographic information systems, property law, land management and spatial planning.
The majority of the research is based on multidisciplinary issues related to the core areas of the research group. This calls for both a specialized and multidisciplinary research approach that often involves cooperation across the core areas of the group.
The Land Management and Geoinformatics research group is organized into
five research areas:
- Land Administration and Cadastre
- Surveying and Mapping
- Planning and Property Law
- Spatial Planning
- Spatial Data Infrastructure
Further, the research group is cooperating with the research center Danish Center for Spatial Planning that is working with physical planning in a broader perspective.
